counting time is about not living in the past or worrying about the future, and simply enjoying the time you have before it is gone. the idea of not being able to do all that you want in life with the time you have is something super meaningful to me and that's why i wrote this song.

the up and down, ebb and flow
of every single wave
trying to find their way
lost at sea, stranded, waiting
for someone out there to come and save you

as you wait to be found
