in january i went to california for the first time in my life and flew in a plane for the first time since i was a kid. it was one of the best experiences of my life and as soon as the plane got over the clouds i cried very happy tears. then i began writing the lyrics to this song for about twenty minutes. after that i stared at the sunrise and meditated for an hour before getting out my laptop and finishing the lyrics and writing the chord progressions and melodies. today i added some more layers to the ending and here is the finished product! this is one of the most meaningful songs i've written so expect to hear this one as an official release someday in the future!
