this was originally a long form poem i wrote while studying philosophy and poetry during college. i was in a very dark place - addicted to heroin and strung out. depressed. but - i had a girl that i loved very deeply - and i had faith that things could get better - that i could get better. unfortunately - even worse days were coming.
