For this third christmas le by the mcdc duo, i wanted to explore the latin genre once again. This piece, a cubaton, is intended as a tribute to my cuban friends rene avich wanton (renesito), javier fc villa and lorenzo sanchez with whom i learned the basics of cuban music for more than ten years...

I am a guitarist, composer, arranger and musical director and i released 2 als and 5 singles. I'm creating many genres of music depending my moods.

for this third christmas le by the mcdc duo, i wanted to explore the latin genre once again. this piece, a cubaton, is intended as a tribute to my cuban friends rene avich wanton (renesito), javier fc villa and lorenzo sanchez with whom i learned the basics of cuban music for more than ten years (in addition to my music students). marie-christine tremblay is singer as usual. i used a 'guitarra tres cubano' (three string guitar with double strings) to play it. françois moisan is on bass. les m’s: marlène claveau on alto sax, michel otis on tenor sax, andré lessard on trumpet and martin tremblay on trombone complete the line-up. mixed and mastered at studio septentrio in jonquière by martin larose. good listening!
