Thanduxolo Blessing Xaba aka Mabhie Goes Live and The Original Pantsula, was born in Durban, KwaZulu Natal.
Growing up in the township in the 90s, Mabhie was heavily exposed to Kwaito , American Hip Hop and Jazz. During those times the most por culture was "IsiPantsula" which, like Hip Hop, influenced everything you did - from the way you walked, fashion, language style and music.
Listening to Kwaito Legends like Mdu, TKZee, Trompies, Alaska and Zola influenced him to write music. His love for Hip Hop legend Tupac Shakur, Pop Superstar Michael Jackson and Jazz Great Kenny G inspired him to want to lead a life with significance and be the greatest at all times.
From as early as the age of 6, Mabhie was already performing with his church choir and his contribution made him a local star at a young age. Growing up in a church environment also taught him compassion and humility. When his parents learned he was a straight A student at school, they started to discourage his interest in art, motivating him to focus on school. However, when he was in high school, art found him again when he sang with an all-male Gospel group "Uhanya", which won every compeion they pared in at the time.
Back in 2008, Mabhie recorded a 5-track demo with Uhanya before he quit gospel to follow his passion and interest in Hip Hop and Kwaito.
In 2010, he was featured on Slam Dee & Bacco's mixtape, on a single ed "Woza", from which he gained the confidence to rap.
He left art to pursue a Bachelor of Education Degree in 2011 although he would still record himself in his bedroom studio.
In 2013 he started an Urban Lifestyle Clothing Brand ed Angith' Ikasi Linje. Its success pushed him back to releasing more songs like "Unamanga Lo" and "Ikasi Linje" to promote the brand.
In 2014, he was doented by MTV Base Kasi Diaries, which inspired him to create a digital platform ed AIL Online TV.
