devya's new instrumental al is ed “when aliens my name”. inspired by the city of 100 tuscan churches and by clipeological studies, the work contains eight tracks of electronic music recorded between london and udine. entirely conceived and pla with vintage digital synthesizers, it sees the parion of mattia romanut (aka stringe) and pianist fabrizio bon on the guitar. the sound segments describe close encounters of the iii type and u.f.o. sightings. imaginary in the “lucca area”, a mystical, religious and holy place, in italy and in the world. the disc opens with the triangulation of synth, guitar and piano describing the arrival of the space city on earth "supernova city", continues with the solitary arpeggiators of "alone in the sky", the acid and suggestive perception of the extraterrestrial contact of 'namesake "when aliens my name", the dub step sequence of "tripping to nowhere", the hypnotic drumming of "abracadabra", the melancholy texture of homecoming with "lovely time for jupiter", the vocal alien speach sample of "communication", to conclude with the additive star lullaby "wonderland".
