Description
1) Sleepwalking
What are these longings in your head
Strange tides that swayed you blood and lead
You through this night?
The way is dark, the path unclear
Desire so strong not even fear could hold you tight.
Keep to the light!
There’s something in those shadowed trees –
Excitement weakens at the knees –
So far away from home you find
The innocence you left behind
Means nothing now.
You long to let it slip away
And all the games you used to play
Are lost some how.
The ties that held you disappear
As something whispers in your ear
‘Surrender what you once held dear
As what was dark is now made clear.
It’s what you came for – never fear.
Your destiny is waiting here.’
2) Night Train.
The night train will take you where you wanna be
The ticket man will show you all you wanna see
So come down and watch the other half at play.
It might get dirty, don’t let them see if you’re afraid.
Let yourself go!
If you don’t like it here then maybe you should go.
We’re mad, we’re bad, we’re dangerous to know,
But if you crave a little flavour why not be
A ‘little something for the weekend’ just for me?
Let yourself go!
Welcome to my parlour, my pretty, pretty one.
Would you be here if you wanted to be safe?
‘Cause in the midst of Death we are in Life
And all beneath the sun
Are predators as much as we are prey!
You have the choice to stay upon the shelf,
Or maybe find the true expression of yourself.
So you decide the way you wanna take.
The door is open. Make your choice for pity’s sake,
And let yourself go!
3) Waking World
And in the dark before the dawn you find yourself once more alone
In your sleeping world.
Everything remains the same, perhaps it’s only you who’s changed
In this waking world.
The tree of knowledge bloomed for you; a dream undreamt at last come true
In your turning world.
Well somethings lost, much more is gained,
A prisoner deep inside unchained
In your brave new world.
