Success at times is seldom met
Difficult decisions are daily with stressful nights of no rest
The next moment is the same moment, and the mission is the same mission all the time
Single Mothers gotta do what she has to do all the time
Where's her strength gonna come from to do it all over again
She’s so tired, her body is breaking down but she has to do it again
Some single mothers make decisions they wouldn't morally do
But will absorb that sacrificial decision to get the family through
Some work extremely hard, but it's not enough
Some engage in another option to turn some dollars and try not to get caught
Some are trapped because there's no other help
As, the older ones are in school, and the babies can't watch themselves
Can't afford a babysitter
There's no money to spend
Have to rely solely on the system
To meet all essential ends
Most are not lazy women
No not at all
They wish they had a job
To take care of it all
Trapped and in tears because they are stuck
While judgmental people say it's all their fault
People criticize, ostracize and condemn these women over and over again
Saying they sinned, talk behind their backs even some so called friends
See each man they met said they were the one
Lying all the damn time just to shoot their shot and then run
It wasn't her fault she didn't know at the time
That the man she laid with was lying all the time
He was just a sperm donor to go
Not a real man of honor
Just a male with adult age
She believed then intimately engaged
The sacrifices you make, the strength that you display everyday, and the love you give it truly amazing. Bless you Single Mothers.
