in my room, there's a hundred candles burning
dark night upon the phantom limb, no one can hear my breathing
waking up in the middle of night someone it’s watching me sleeping
i hear they ing out my name
my prays are enough to be saved?

the trees scratching on the window
shaping an evil shadow
i hear the horses getting furious and mad
is that a sign for what will come up next?

unlocking the door of my room and escaping from the devil cage
'til the voices in my mind say “you will not be able to escape”
i see the lady of night face in the black rain
now i can do my getaway through the light gate

runnin' down the hill hearing dark voices
breaking through the fences riding a haunted horse
they screaming out loud “you have no choice”
will it be my end? oh lord i don’t want to fall into the phantom void

entering in the forest with the knowledge of nothing
under the hard rain that’s pouring
looking to the lilac, magnolia and many other flowers
for a moment i forgot that i’m outside in the dark hour

the trees are getting smaller and my vision starts to fade
and the voices in my head “you still not able to escape”
i'm still running to keep my soul
i'd rather die than give they control

runnin' down the hill hearing dark voices

will it be my end? oh lord i don’t want to fall into the phantom void

after riding from miles i can see the light of day
don’t know where i am, looks like another state
i'm relieved that i made my dark escape
but the voices in my head say “you’re not so far away”
