well it's time to take
a little time off
it's the end of the week
i've been working like a dog
so i'm going to go home
take a big load off
maybe get out of the shower
splash on some cologne
whatever i do
i'll be thanking my god
no more running around
no more bouncing off the walls
ay the end of the week
i finally got some time off
...finally got some time off...

alrighty now, let me show you how
this little country boy, from the south
i'm gonna show you how to relax
it won't take long to get it down
it involve a big tv and a leather couch
shoes are in the corner, the remote i just found
now it's time to relax and settle down
i got a big bag of chips and a soda pop smile
this is my time off, i'm gonna spend it in style

i mean no disrespect, cause i have worked all my life
workin these fingers to the bone
and a lot of overtime
so i hope you understand, i hope you realize
i've got bills to pay, two kids and a wife
if it's one thing that bothers me
are the people who don't know me,
they think that i'm lazy,
but they just don't know me
i just like to relax and to sit on back
after a long hard week
... of bustin my back.....
