When I was making this song I had a standing point that it should be more of the uplifting/happy kind. I like to mix depressed notes with happy notes, kind of like in real life. In this song I feel like there is a lot more tension, it's more exciting, with a darker tone but it's not obviously there. Like the name says I wanted to build the song like it's rising from something bad to something good, aka when the drop hits. I relate to it in my own way, we all have those periods in life where everything just sucks but at some point we all rise again. I believe many other can relate to it the same way I do. A lot of people can relate to get a diagnosis and suddenly they understand themselves better. I hope you like it.
