Rattlesnake by Runaway Hounds from Wolverhampton United Kingdom

The debut single of UK indie-rock band 'Runaway Hounds'. It was in October last year when the band truly began to gain momentum with the release of their debut single 'Rattlesnake', gaining airplay and support from the likes of BBC Introducing and more. Following months of care and refinement, the result of the track is a high-energy indie anthem comprised of an infectious riff, powerful vocals and dance-worthy rhythms.

'We really like to tell stories when writing our songs and this stands true with Rattlesnake' explains Owen, who wrote the lyrics for the track.

'It carries the perspective of someone facing the end of a relationship. Rather than throwing their anger on their partner, they make up this monstrous being to project it all onto. This person is terrified of it, but would rather think this way than hurt the one they love. That's why there's so much energy and passion behind the instrumentals and melody I think'

After the success of 'Rattlesnake' , amassing over 2,000 listens on Spotify alone in its first few months, the band are set to release their second single 'Sophie' in late February, claiming it will 'push the massive Runaway Hounds sound further than before'.
