Sitting girl with arms bent is the solo project of Giuditta Corgnati, Italian artist previously bass-player and singer in the post-punk band Moldig, especially known for the song “The treachery”, whose tracks were featured on several european compilations (e.g. German Gothic Magazine), listing performances at various national and international venues (Germany, Czetch Republic, Holland, UK, USA) from 2006 through 2013.
Sitting girl with arms bent trascends pure musical genres to create a personal space not quite indentifiable with post-punk or alternative rock-wave but dark enough to let the listener feel the gloomy shade familiar to such stems.
Black shapes is the first track off the S/T al, just out (July 2017). Composed and pla by Giuditta Corgnati (vocals, bass, guitars), and featuring the guitarist Enrico Bricco on some of the tracks.
