devil in me, the second offering from def star's first ep, the shroomin show, carries that ferociously independent, rebellious att.itude from oceans. this song's about a guy that realizes there's a dark side to him & that's just one more thing we humans all have in common. however, this guy doesn't compartmentalize it and shove it away, acting like it doesn't exist. somehow, he's recognized some things to be gained from it. some could say, "evil for good".
